Senior Java Developer

We are looking to hire a Senior Java Developer who will work in a team of highly qualified professionals to implement and extend our highly scalable enterprise-class cloud-based platform using proven design patterns according the latest technology trends! This position requires a strong hands-on developer that will fully participate in the software development process – design, development, unit testing and technical documentation. You will use the Scrum development methodology to create state of the art software solutions that set standards.

Your Primary Responsibilities:
Develop software solutions using Java (SE and EE) and 3rd Party API frameworks
Analysis of the technical requirements and design preparation
Design and deploy high quality, scalable code
Participating in software design discussions
Assessment of new, cutting edge technologies
Troubleshoot and resolve problems
Unit and Integration testing

Skills and competencies:
A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
3+ years working experience with Java SE/Java EE (7 and above)
Experience with Struts2/Spring/CXF/Atmosphere/Hibernate/Eclipse/Tomcat/Wildfly(Jboss)
Experience with relational (PostgresSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databatases as an advantage
Experience developing in an Agile software development environment
SOA and Microservices experience
Strong object oriented design skills and experience using design patterns
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proactive, independent and to be able to work under pressure and tight schedules
Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
Good English reading/writing skills
